Fifth edition of the ‘Learning Forum’ on learning in businesses and institutions takes place in Milan
The event took place today at Assolombarda’s headquarters in Milan, the fifth edition of the "Learning Forum", the Comunicazione Italiana event dedicated to learning in companies and institutions.
The theme chosen for the 2026 edition, "Learning Voice"": it has focused – as explained in a press release – "on a question that is becoming increasingly crucial for organisations: how can we give a voice to learners? In a landscape where flexibility, empowerment, hybrid working, experimentation with non-hierarchical models and the spread of artificial intelligence are transforming the way people work, corporate training too is called upon to move beyond a purely didactic approach. N"It is not enough simply to design content and learning pathways from the top down: we need to create experiences that take into account people’s actual needs, objectives, feedback and skills, making learning an integral part of the organisational culture.".
The 2026 edition also marked the launch of 'Oltre:', the new format through which Comunicazione Italiana reaffirms its original role as a publisher: not merely an organiser of events, but an entity capable of producing, selecting and connecting content, ideas, languages and perspectives. As Fabrizio Cataldi, founder of Comunicazione Italiana, pointed out, 'Oltre:' was conceived as "an editorial space for in-depth analysis and discussion, designed to guide the community beyond the strictly event-based dimension and open up new avenues for reflection on issues affecting businesses, institutions and society. Among the concepts that emerged during the interviews were: the importance of cultivating a critical mindset and lateral thinking; the need to define clear objectives to guide strategy; and the role of empathy and trust in relationships with colleagues.".
The theme of the day was first addressed in the opening talk show, 'Learning Voice: how companies can give a voice to learners', hosted by Federico Luperi, News Intelligence Director at Volocom, with the participation of Cecilia Calvi Parisetti, South West Cluster Talent Management Lead at Air Liquide; Romina Chirichilli, Director of People & Sustainability at Open Fiber; Marilena Dalla Patti, HR Director for Italy at Kuehne+Nagel; Luca Malinverno, Head of AI Adoption at Datapizza; and Serena Rossi, Human Resources Director for Italy at Siemens Healthineers.
The discussion explored the shift from top-down training models to pathways for personal and professional development that foster autonomy, the sharing of skills, adaptability and individual responsibility. Throughout the day, the programme covered some of the key developments in corporate learning: From the impact of AI to the skill-based organisation, from the personalisation of training programmes to data governance, right through to the relationship between learning, productivity and wellbeing. Other topics covered included: onboarding, the ROI of training, instant training, edutainment, digital assistants and new ways of linking skills, people and business priorities.
At the same time Alongside the plenary sessions, the 'Learning Forum' hosted speeches and in-depth talks in a phygital format, with closed-door round-table discussions, business meetings and informal networking opportunities, reaffirming Comunicazione Italiana’s commitment to building integrated systems of content and B2B networking.
The following organisations contributed to the content and the success of the event as content partners: Alten, Aktive Learn Reply, Axerta, Datapizza, DD, Howay, Klaaryo, K-Rev, Piazza Copernico, Tabilia, Teleskill, Twenix, Variazioni and Voxy. As Partner Forum: Alveria, Carol, CBArchitects, Delivera, Flaskk, goFLUENT, GoodHabitz, The Language Grid, Risorse Advisory, SAP Concur, Syllog, U2COACH and UNREAL. The event also saw Adnkronos collaborate as the Main Media Partner. Recordings of the sessions will soon be available at www.comunicazioneitaliana.tv. Comunicazione Italiana’s events will return after the summer with Blue Green Week, scheduled for 16–22 September.
