AI in recruiting: faster or fairer decisions? The challenge for HR
AI in recruiting is no longer new. It is already operational, already integrated, already used every day to analyse CVs, filter applications and support decisions. Yet at the same time as the speed of processes is increasing, there is a growing doubt: are we really improving the quality of our choices or are we simply making the same mistakes more efficient as before? Many systems promise objectivity, but are based on historical data reflecting past decisions, often implicit and not always conscious. The result is that AI does not eliminate subjectivity: it structures it, amplifies it and makes it more difficult to detect. The point, therefore, is not whether or not to use artificial intelligence in recruiting. The point is how to design a process that knows how to use it without losing control, critical sense and decision-making responsibility.
This webinar stems from here: not to tell what AI can do, but to understand how to use it to make better decisions, not just faster ones.
WHY PARTICIPATE IN THE WEBINAR?
Because the point today is not to adopt AI in recruiting, but to understand how to avoid making decisions worse instead of better. Many processes become faster, more fluid, seemingly more objective. But without conscious design, AI risks crystallising implicit logic, replicating distortions already present in the data and reducing the space for critical judgement instead of reinforcing it.
During the webinar we will work on this junction: how to integrate AI into decision-making processes while maintaining control, quality and accountability, without turning it into an opaque automatism. We will see how to build a real balance between automation and human intervention, how to make data a decision-making and not just an operational lever, and how to design a selection process that is not only efficient, but also reliable, readable and defendable over time.
WHEN
15 June - 17:00 - 18:00 hours → For registrations write to rsardo@alveria.it by Friday 12 June 2026.
What you will see in detail
During the webinar we will go into how Artificial Intelligence can be concretely applied in recruiting processes, showing tools, operational logic and real-life use cases. The aim is to provide a clear reading not only of what AI does, but of how it really impacts on the quality of decisions.
AI in recruiting: between speed and decision quality
We will analyse how recruiting has changed over the last few years and why today the pressure on time and volume makes it more difficult to maintain quality and consistency in decisions. We will see how AI fits into this context: on the one hand by accelerating processes, on the other hand by introducing new complexities in decision management.
AI as a tool for consulting and analysing data
We will delve into how AI enables the rapid and structured interrogation of large HR databases, supporting the analysis of candidate history and the identification of recurring patterns. This provides the recruiter's experience with a more robust and readable information base.
Intelligent search and matching of candidates
We will see how AI systems make it possible to overcome traditional keyword-based logic by introducing more advanced semantic search and matching mechanisms. This makes it possible to broaden the search perimeter and improve the quality of shortlists, while remaining alert to the limits of model interpretation.
Data quality: the real enabling factor
We will delve into the central role of data in AI-driven processes. A structured, consistent and up-to-date database is a prerequisite for reliable results and for making decisions more traceable and comparable over time.
E-recruiting and AI: Alveria's HCMS platform
We will show how these elements find concrete application within the module E-recruiting of HCMS, highlighting the role of a structured platform in process management and the added value of integration with AI.
