SECURITY POLICY

Safety, health and hygiene in the workplace is a commitment for everyone, which manifests itself not only in the observance of safe and correct behaviour when carrying out one's work, but also in the constant creation of the most suitable conditions for this to happen.

The principle to which ALVERIA S.r.l. has based its activity since the beginning is to fully meet the customer's expectations. The customer's requests must not only be satisfied in terms of quality and safety, but must also be supported by a company management that guarantees their full understanding and constant respect. ALVERIA S.r.l. is committed to pursuing the best possible Occupational Safety and Health (S&SL) conditions and to operating in compliance with those environmental protection requirements that are such an important part of our civilised living, with reference to the principles of protection, prevention, protection and in general continuous improvement, with a view to systematic management of the indicators that the control and monitoring activities return to us.

For all this, the Management undertakes to take an active role in the promotion and guidance of all activities affecting the safety and health of workers and the impact that the company as a whole can generate on the environment surrounding it, through the dissemination at all levels of the concepts set forth herein and the verification of the results obtained in terms of their sharing and effectiveness. ALVERIA complies with all applicable mandatory requirements on occupational safety and health and all related regulations.

To this end and for the reasons stated above, ALVERIA S.r.l. undertakes to

  • realise services that fully meet customer expectations;
  • improve the professionalism, and thus the level of satisfaction, of its internal staff;
  • obtain and maintain active Safety Management System Certification;
  • define clear communication systems, so that all organisational, management and operational levels are oriented towards compliance with security procedures;
  • disseminate and train all personnel on safe working methods, so that they operate in the company and at the client's premises with the responsibility and awareness of having to act safely in order to protect themselves and others;
  • improve the safety culture with systematic education, information and training, in order to increase the level of awareness of dangers and risks and knowledge of accident prevention techniques, emergency management, correct application of legal and regulatory provisions as well as company practices;
  • maintain "zero" accidents, disseminate information on accidents, injuries and near misses by monitoring their 'frequency' and 'severity' with a view to performance evaluation; Monitor data on minor injuries, or near misses, by raising awareness of this among operators;
  • attempt to develop the reporting and transcription of "dangerous behaviour" carried out by operators, employees, including those of the client/customer, mapping them in order to define appropriate protection and prevention measures;
  • ensuring the involvement of all management in the Company's S&SL policy and objectives, as well as ensuring that all staff are made aware of the Company's S&SL commitments, are involved in pursuing them, and are instructed and trained to adopt behaviours consistent with these commitments;
  • monitor and ensure the adoption of correct S&SL behaviour by suppliers and stakeholders working on behalf of the organisation;
  • adopt the best emergency prevention and control techniques and procedures, also by coordinating proactively with the client and the places where the service is performed;
  • introduce appropriate control and audit methodologies of S&SL management;
  • periodically reviewing the policy and application of the S&SL system to assess its correctness and effectiveness, with a view to continuous improvement and the redefinition of corporate objectives;
  • enable the best available technologies for workers interfacing with hazards arising from work activities.

Systematic management reviews defined annually make it possible to ascertain: whether the objectives have been achieved and are appropriate and adequate to achieve the defined goals, whether information at the relevant levels of the organisation is adequate to the objectives.

All personnel must understand and implement this policy in the performance of their duties. This Quality and Safety Policy is reviewed when company strategies change, and in any case adapted when new needs for improvement arise: the natural forum for systematically assessing its suitability is the periodic management review of the management system.
