EXCELLENCE IN EXECUTION

- Appropriate management models to support the drive for results
These elements, however, are not enough; pursuing excellence requires a widespread culture among those involved, also supported by strong values that aggregate and 'justify' everyone's commitment.
Alveria has developed the “Excellence in Execution Program” with the aim of bridging the gap between expected results and actual execution by the organisation; an intervention whose objective is to disseminate models and behaviours aimed at operational excellence.
In order to achieve this, it is necessary to share and reason, together with the participants chosen by the client company, about the actual ways of working, planning, prioritising, delegating; so as to ensure the full implementation and realisation of the strategic plan and related objectives.
In order to achieve these objectives, it is important to focus on the role that each participant must play, and in particular on the ability to interpret the company strategy in such a way as to define the operational contribution of the resources assigned by guiding and directing their action. Knowing, therefore, how to plan and manage priorities, in relation to what is happening and having the ability to guide the team through clarity of objectives.
This requires management to have a clear understanding of the strategy and the contribution that each individual can make to its realisation, clearing the field of confusion between excellence in execution and first-hand operational execution of all that needs to be done.
To be excellent at 'strategy execution' one must have a clear vision of what the company expects from each manager and work towards excellent production/operational standards, while also addressing the question of how to support one's team in constantly improving performance levels.
